Police, loved ones still searching for missing Manitou Springs woman one year later

MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- One year after Margaret Woolsey went missing in Manitou Springs, her family is hoping for closure. Now, they're hoping someone will remember something about the case that could lead to answers.

Woolsey was reported missing in September of 2025 and detectives are investigating her disappearance as a criminal investigation. Her daughter told KRDO13 she feels like she's in a waiting game, hoping someone will remember something to help investigators.

"She's someone's family, and so hopefully someone willing to come forward," Heather Delany, Woolsey's daughter, said. "I hope whoever comes forward knows that even if you think that no one knows, God does, and so hopefully you can live with yourself."

The Manitou Springs Police Department (MSPD) say Woolsey was first reported missing in August of 2025, and was described as a white female, around 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes. At the time, MSPD said it was unusual for her to lose contact with friends and family.

She was last seen in a residential area off of Bradley Road near Wageman Drive, about 14 miles from Manitou Springs.

In October of 2025, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and MSPD were continuing to ask for help in locating Woolsey.

KRDO13 spoke with Woolsey's sister in January of this year. She said at the time she could feel something was wrong, and asked anyone with information to come forward.

""I feel like somebody knows something or has seen something. I know a lot of times you hear people say that, twins feel each other. And I just feel in my gut that something is wrong in my heart, in my gut," April Rossetti said.

MSPD says anyone with information can contact Detective Strider at MSPD.

"No matter how insignificant they think it is, if they can share it, we miss her. She had her struggles and demons. But she's very much loved, and she is very much missed. And we just want closure. No matter which direction it takes us," Rossetti said.
