BEULAH, Colo. (KRDO) - The "Aspen Acres" fire has demanded the nation's attention. 12 days in, over 1,900 firefighters work as one to hold the line.

12 days ago, a major burden of the blaze fell on the shoulders of a few dozen volunteer firefighters.

KRDO13's Bradley Davis traveled to Beulah, behind the containment lines, to show the stark images of a town on the brink and the somber words of a fire crew too stubborn to let their town burn.
