KRDO in the kitchen: Local bakery shows off its Valentines treats
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo (KRDO) – KRDO 13's Bradley Davis gives us a look at how local bakeries are working to meet the demand of last-minute valentines shoppers with their fresh baked goods.
"You can't eat flowers!" said La Concha Bakery content creator Sebastian Romero.
La Concha Bakery in Colorado Springs is a Mexican bakery specializing in conchas and other baked desserts. They're one of the local businesses answering the Valentine's Day call with special holiday-themed treats.
"I think this is a good thing to give to your couple or to to somebody that you love because you're taking care of them, and you need to say to them, 'we're going to start the diet on Monday!'" Romero said.
La Concha is taking orders for their heart-shaped Conchas and heart-shaped fruit cheesecakes.
