Multiple Agencies on scene of accident with trapped person near UCCS

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - According to the Colorado Springs Fire Department, crews are on the scene of a "trapped person due to a traffic accident" in front of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.

CSFD rescued a trapped party around 8:49. The Colorado Springs Police Department responded and shut down eastbound traffic at Austin Bluffs and Regent Circle.

Crews on the scene can see that one bus and one SUV are involved in the crash. The bus can be seen up onto a hill.

CSFD says drivers should avoid the area until the scene is cleared.
