Gas leak on Main Street in Canon City

CANON CITY, Colo. (KRDO) - An underground natural gas leak has caused businesses to close in Downtown Canon City.

According to the Canon City Police Department, residents are asked to avoid the area of Macon Plaza and the 500 block of Main Street.

Businesses in the area are currently closed, according to police.
