Warm and breezy Friday… slightly cooler Saturday

Mainly sunny and mild this afternoon... ten degrees cooler Saturday.

TODAY: We'll go from sunny to partly cloudy Friday afternoon with highs in the 70s. A few stronger thunderstorms will be possible across the eastern plains... and especially along the border with Kansas.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and cool overnight with morning lows dipping into the mid and upper-30s. 

EXTENDED: Highs in the 60s Saturday with a small chance for a few afternoon showers and an isolated thunderstorm. Sunny we're warm, dry, and windy into the afternoon as another upper-level low flows into the region. Cooler again Monday with highs in the 60s and 70s. Monday also looks likely for a severe weather event from Nebraska south through Kansas and into Oklahoma.
