Colorado Springs Fire Department responding to fire on east side of town

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) is responding to a fire at 1215 Sorrento Dr. This is on the east side of Colorado Springs near Fountain Blvd. and Chelton Rd.

CSFD says that crews on the scene are reporting heavy fire and smoke showing.

CSFD says that there were issues getting into the house due to hoarding conditions.

There was one person treated for minor injuries and one dog was saved.
