Pikes Peak Highway will close for 2 days next week for forest mitigation project

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Pikes Peak Highway will be closed for two days next week for a forest mitigation project.

According to Pikes Peak - America's Mountain, the road up the mountain will be closed on Tuesday, January 16th, and Wednesday, January 17th for the project.

The highway will reopen on Thursday, January 18th at 9 a.m.
