Arrest made after car wash fire on North Powers Boulevard

COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) responded to a fire in a car wash at 2790 North Powers Blvd. at 2:21 a.m. on December 27, 2023.

According to their X account, the fire has been extinguished and there are no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.

The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) also responded saying that the building was occupied at the time of the fire.

CSPD says that CSFD Arson investigators responded and conducted an investigation. Through a cooperative effort between CSPD and CSFD, suspect information was developed. CSPD Officers located and arrested the suspect, Adam Snyder, without incident.

CSFD says that the origin and cause of the fire are still under investigation.
