slot0

WEATHER ALERT DAY: Snowy and cold heading our way during the day... as cold air dives in across the region. The heavier snow will likely ramp up this evening and tonight. A winter weather advisory has been issued for northern El Paso County and Teller County where snow amounts will be higher. Still, be aware that driving may become difficult late this evening and tonight.

TONIGHT: Moderate snow tonight and early into Saturday morning. Models suggest most of the heavier snow will come to an end by sunrise Saturday morning. Cold starts Saturday with highs in the teens and 20s.

EXTENDED: Fresh snow on the ground for many areas Saturday with partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid and upper-30s.  Expect to see some very cold temperatures by Sunday morning... with lows in the 10s, teens, and low-20s. We will be warmer Sunday afternoon with highs climbing back into the 40s and low-50s.
