Colorado Springs fire responded to smoke in downtown Colorado Springs business

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) responded to smoke inside Central Linen on S. Wahsatch Ave.

Central Linen is in downtown Colorado Springs near the Denver Biscuit Company.

CSFD says that there was no active fire and that a malfunctioning HVAC system caused smoke inside.

CSFD cleared the scene and employees were allowed back inside.

#UPDATE: no active fire. Malfunctioning HVAC system caused moderate smoke inside the business. CSFD crews have cleared and the employees were allowed back inside.
