PFD

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Just after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Pueblo Fire Department (PFD) reported they were responding to a brush fire at Minnequa Lake.

The PFD initially said the fire was approximately four acres in size and was moving north due to light winds.

An update provided about 45 minutes later said the fire was at five acres but a fire line had been established and the fire was not expected to grow any further, the PFD said.

There are currently no pre-evacuation or evacuation orders in place.

Residents are asked to avoid the area.
