Secure your tickets to Wild Fall at the Denver Zoo!
DENVER, Colo. (KRDO)-- Now that fall has officially arrived, the Denver Zoo is transforming its campus into pure “falloween” fun as it celebrates all of its wildlife during Wild Fall, Sept. 29.
During this event, guests to the Zoo will discover roaming costumed characters, creature-themed professional pumpkin carvings, festive autumnal food and spooky drinks, and special animal demonstrations that connect supernatural beings to the real-life natural world.
All Wild Fall activities are free with daytime admission and will take place during regular Zoo hours starting at 8:30 a.m. for members, and 10 a.m. for the general public.
Zoo officials added on select evenings (Oct. 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28), Wild Fall will get even sweeter with the Trick-or-Treat Trail–a separately ticketed, limited-admission event serving up wildlife-friendly candy (all palm oil-free or using sustainably sourced palm oil) and spooky seasonal surprises around every corner.
Each $20 ticket (free for ages 0-2) includes a reusable trick-or-treat bag, 30-40 pieces of candy from nine candy stations, festive photo ops with characters and sets, and festive food and cocktails available for purchase.
The Zoo is also hosting a special sensory-friendly edition of Trick-or-Treat Trail on Oct. 31 for guests and families with autism and sensory processing disorders.
Finally, for the 18+ crowd, Zoo officials state they are hosting its popular Adulting with the Animals series with Monster Masquerade on Oct. 26, featuring creepy-crawly Animal Ambassador appearances, trivia games, character photo ops, costume contests, and even a live DJ.
Members and guests to the Zoo are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance due to the popularity of the event and the likelihood that many days and time slots will sell out.
