Colorado Springs Fire Department rescues two people stranded in Fountain Creek

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)-- Two people are now rescued after being stranded in the middle of Fountain Creek overnight on July 31.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) spearheaded the rescue effort off of 8th St. and Cimmaron at around 10:48 p.m.
As a result of the incident, the two individuals were taken to a hospital to be treated for cold water exposure injuries.
