Serious summer heat on tap again today

The sweltering summer heat continues over the next couple of days.

TODAY: The Four Corners heat dome continues to dominate the weather pattern with highs in the 90s and triple digits again this afternoon. Like yesterday, we will see a few isolated showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

Tonight: Any evening storms will quickly weaken as the sun sets tonight. Overnight low will be on the warm side with morning starts Wednesday in the 60s and low-70s.

EXTENDED: Still very hot temperatures through the weekend with highs ranging from the low-90s to the upper-90s.  Each afternoon with feature a chance for isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms.
