Winter driving conditions lead to 100-car crash in Denver

DENVER, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Denver metro area saw several inches of snow accumulation Thursday night.

Numerous crashes were reported Friday morning across the Denver area, including one involving about 100 vehicles at 6th Ave. and Kalamath St.

According to our new partners in Denver, the Denver Police Department (DPD) said about 100 motorists were involved in the crash that closed eastbound and westbound West 6th Avenue at North Kalamath Street to North Federal Boulevard.

There is currently no word on when the roadway will reopen.
