‘Magic of Lights’ at the Pikes Peak International Raceway for the first time
FOUNTAIN, Colo. (KRDO) -- The holiday season is fast approaching and the Pikes Peak International Raceway (PPIR) is offering a new drive-through Christmas lights experience.
The event "Magic of Lights" will be at the PPIR for the first time from November 18- January 1.
The family-friendly drive-through holiday lights festival will feature dozens of displays, illuminated canopies, and digital animation, all constructed with over a million individual LED lights.
According to the PPIR, some of the light attractions will include a 32-foot-tall animated Mattel’s Barbie, "Prehistoric Christmas" which will feature life-sized dinosaurs celebrating the season, Big Foot Monster Trucks, Winter Wonderland, as well as Magic of Lights favorites including the 12 Days of Christmas, Toyland and the 200-foot long Enchanting Tunnel of Lights.
The entire display is designed to be enjoyed from the comfort, and warmth, of your car.
Tickets are on sale now here. Tickets are valid any day the attraction is open and are discounted until November 2.
