Fremont County man arrested, accused of sexually assaulting a child

FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- A Fremont County man faces charges related to a sexual assault on a child.

Brandon Allen, 39, is charged with Sexual Assault on a child in a position of trust and Sexual Assault on a Child.

According to court documents, the investigation began in May of 2022. He's accused of assaulting a child multiple times at a house he shared with the victim.

While speaking with investigators, Allen denied the allegations. However, court documents say Allen lied several times but were consistent with the statements given by the victim and witnesses as to when and where the incident occurred.

According to the Fremont County Sheriff's Office, he was arrested on Oct. 7. As of Oct. 26, Allen is still in jail.
