CSU Pueblo extending free tuition program

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- CSU Pueblo is extending its free tuition program.

According to our news partners in Pueblo, students with a gross family income of $70,000 or less can apply to the Colorado Promise Program beginning in the fall 2023 semester.

When the program was first rolled out, the cap was $50,000.

As part of the program, tuition payments are guaranteed for at least one year and can be renewed for up to four years for first-time, undergrad students. Transfer students can get up to two years of tuition paid for.

If you want to be eligible by next fall, be sure to fill out the free application for federal student aid before May 1.
