Pueblo West High School begins day on external lockdown due to second threat this week
PUEBLO WEST, Colo. (KRDO) -- Pueblo West High School began the day Thursday on external lockdown.
A message from the school said, "sheriff's deputies and district administrators are in place while the threat is being investigated." No other Pueblo West schools are impacted by this situation.
At approximately 7:45 a.m., the high school provided an update that said the initial investigation is almost complete and normal activity is going on inside the building.
Around 9:30 a.m. the school said the two-part investigation was complete. There is no threat to the campus and the exterior lockdown has been lifted.
District 70 confirmed this was the second threat at the school this week.
