Colorado Day themed license plate auction will support disability community

DENVER, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Lt. Governor's Office announced Thursday that a Colorado Day themed license plate auction will raise money for Colorado's disability community.
Proceeds from the auction will go to the Colorado Disability Funding Committee.
For the auction, the Colorado Disability Funding Committee will be selling the rights to 20 unique Colorado license plates. Auction winners will obtain the rights to the configurations as their official Colorado license plate.
The Lt. Governor's Office said the Colorado Disability Funding Committee will use the proceeds from the auction to fund grants for disability application assistance and grants for organizations to improve the quality of life and independence of Coloradans with disabilities.
Configurations in the auction will include COLOUSA, MNTFEVR, AND RKYMTNS, among others.
