Colorado State Patrol is hosting “Take It To The Track” night at Bandimere Speedway

CSP

DENVER, Colo. (KRDO) -- Starting July 27, 2022, Colorado State Patrol (CSP) is hosting Take It To The Track test night at Bandimere Speedway.

Those that choose to participate can take their car to Bandimere and find a spot in the pit area.

According to Bandimere's website, racers do undergo a technical inspection process with the Bandimere staff. Safety and meeting all the regulations for your vehicle's speed is the top priority says Bandimere. The Bandimere tech staff checks over the vehicle and when finished approve the vehicle for racing.

Bandimere's website also states that once the vehicle has passed the technical inspection, the lanes open for as many runs as you'd like and racers are welcome to hop in and make passes as they want. The lanes on most evenings remain open until 8:45 p.m. depending on the weather.

CSP says that this event creates a safe and welcoming environment for those who wish to satisfy the need for speed in a controlled and safe place. Safety and having an outlet to bring your vehicle are some of the roots in which Bandimere Speedway was founded and is part of the Colorado State Patrol's ongoing effort to keep Colorado's drivers and roadways safe.

CSP is present at the event and have even jumped into races in the past.
