Colorado Springs All Stars ready for Waco, TX regional
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Many have tried, but no one has been able to stop the Colorado Springs All-Stars. After winning the state crown, they’re off to the regional tournament for a showdown with Texas West on Sunday in Waco, TX. If the girls from the Springs win regionals, they’ll be off to North Carolina for the Little League World Series!
They've already established themselves as the best softball team in the state. Everything from here on out is icing on the cake.
The regional tournament will be televised on ESPN. No Colorado softball team has ever won the Little League World Series.
Of course, there's no time like the present.
