The fees for a special event food license are increasing in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment (PDPHE) voted to increase the fees for vendors at public festivals, or fairs serving food in Pueblo County.

The vote passed at the June Board of Health monthly meeting.

The PDPHE says that the increase will provide health inspection services before and during special events to continue protecting the health of the public attending.

Starting July 1, 2022, the following are the fees for special event food licenses.

  • Limited Prepackage (1 Event 1 Day) $100.00
  • Full-Service Event (1 Event 1 Day) $150.00
  • Limited Prepackage (1 Event 2-8 Days) $150.00
  • Full-Service Event (1 Event 2-8 Days) $200.00
  • Limited Prepackage (Multi Events >8 Days) $270.00
  • Full-Service Event (Multi Events >8 Days) $385.00
