Juneteenth Festival prompts temporary road closure in downtown Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The City of Colorado Springs is reminding the community that there will be a temporary road closure in the downtown area for the second annual Southern Colorado Juneteenth Festival.
The Southern Colorado Juneteenth Festival will be held on June 17-19 in America the Beautiful Park.
This three-day festival is free and open to the public.
Temporarily road closure is as scheduled:
- Friday, June 17 at 9 a.m. through Sunday, June 19 at 10 p.m on Cimino Drive between W. Colorado Ave. and Conejos St.
Monday, city offices will be closed. Individuals who are scheduled to appear at Colorado Springs Municipal Court that day must appear the next day on Tuesday, June 21. The city says if you're unable to attend, call 719-385-5928 or email MunicipalCourtViolations@ColoradoSprings.Gov.
