Court docs reveal more on multiple arrests made during investigation into sex trafficking of a teen

CSPD

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Thursday, the Colorado Springs Police Department announced five people were taken into custody following a months-long investigation into the sex trafficking of a 15-year-old girl. Now, KRDO has obtained arrest affidavits of two people involved in the investigation.

Levi Chester, 43, was the only suspect charged with Attempted Patronizing a Prostituted Child, a Class 4 Felony. He's also charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Child (Class 5 Felony), and Soliciting for Prostitution.

The affidavit details what led up to CSPD's Metro Vice Unit identifying Chester and Krishawna Coles, who was arrested on multiple charges including soliciting for child prostitution.

According to the documents, the victim was 14 at the time of the investigation. The documents say Chester was made aware of the victim through Krishawna Coles, 32.

Coles was arrested and charged with Human Trafficking for Sexual Servitude of a Minor (Class 2 Felony), Sexual Assault on a Child (Class 4 Felony), and multiple counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child (Class 3 Felony).

Court documents say Cole recruited the victim to work as a prostitute with her on a commercial sex date. For that incident, Cole said they would both have a "sexual encounter" with an unidentified male Air Force Lieutenant for $150 a piece on May 15, 2021. It's unclear if this encounter happened.

On August 31, 2021, court documents say Cole sent multiple photographs of herself and the victim to someone. Those photos were of themselves both clothed and nude. It was noted in the affidavit eight of the images met the definition of child sexual abuse material.

The court documents detail how Chester initiated a Facebook conversation with Cole on October 5, 2021. The affidavit notes while they spoke, Cole asked the victim to send her "sexy" photos they had taken together.

From October 5 and 7, they discuss meeting up and how much Chester was going to pay Cole. On October 7, 2021, Cole sends a nude photo of herself and the victim to Chester. The affidavit indicates they did meet.

On October 8, 2021, the affidavit says they start to arrange another commercial sex date, however, they ended up not meeting again.

According to court documents, Chester asked Cole about the victim on October 10, 2021, asking her for a "two for one." He asks what the "deal" would be if her "girl" comes and Cole responds by saying they're waiting on him to send money. The affidavit says the three did not meet up on that date.

According to police, Joshua Carrasco, Amanda Cortez, and Adam Quintana were also arrested for their involvement in this case.
