Discovery Canyon’s Julia Thomas claims two state crowns
Discovery Canyon junior Julia Thomas was dominant en route to claiming a pair of first-place finishes at the 3A state meet.
Thomas took home first place in the 50-yard freestyle.
That wasn't enough for her, though. Thomas followed with another win in the 100-yard freestyle. She was a full 1.5 seconds ahead of the field.
As a team, Discovery Canyon took home 2nd place in class 3A.
