Southwest Airlines offering holiday flights to Houston and San Antonio
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Southwest Airlines announced they will add new flights during the upcoming holiday season to Houston and San Antonio.
The routes will start in November and be available on select days. There are already daily flights to cities like Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, and Phoenix.
Southwest just entered the Colorado Springs market in March and is already the airport's largest carrier, boarding 35% of passengers leaving the Springs in April.
Announcement of the new flights come as Mountain Metro announced a new route taking people to and from the Colorado Springs Airport.
