Two people in hospital following plane crash near Larimer County

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Two people are alive and in the hospital following a plane crash that happened near the Weld/Larimer County line.

The single-engine plane landed about 12 miles northeast of Northern Colorado Regional Airport. The plane flipped over during the crash.

Wellington Fire

Officials say the two people on board were taken to a local hospital. No word on their condition.

The National Transportation Safety Board and FAA will investigate what caused the plane to crash.
