Vibes win in season opener

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- There had not been a Vibes game at UC Health Park since 2019. They welcomed the crowd back in style.

The Vibes scored two runs in the second inning, and their pitching and defense took over from there. The Vibes came away with a 2-0 win over Grand Junction.

Griffin Barnes started the scoring with an RBI double in the second inning. Juan Barboza plated a run with an RBI single later in the inning.
