Masks no longer required at Coors Field starting May 21

DENVER, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Rockies announced Thursday masks are no longer required at Coors Field.

Beginning with the Rockies game on Friday, May 21, fans will no longer be required to wear a mask while in the stands at Coors Field.

Fans who are not fully vaccinated are encouraged to continue wearing masks.

This announcement comes almost a week after the Colorado Rockies announced they were approved to increase Coors Field capacity to 70%. That change kicks in June 1.
