CDOT set to pick 20 winners of Name that Plow Contest

COLORADO (KRDO) -- The Colorado Department of Transportation and Governor Polis is set to review submissions for the Name that Plow contest.

The contest was open to elementary school students across Colorado. Submissions were due in March. Now, Gov. Polis and CODT will review the submissions and pick 20 winners.

The winners will have the opportunity to take a photo with the snowplow they named.

A few of the submissions were shared with KRDO, there's Brrrack Snowbama, Angelina Snowlie, and Jennifer Snopez.

Some submissions stuck to a theme, like Snowbi Wan Kenobi, Darth Blader, and Baby Snowda. There were also Snowtorious B-I-G, Sir Plowsalot, and Snow No Mo.

The plows will be adorned with their new names by the fall.
