Driver arrested after DUI crash shuts down Colorado Springs intersection
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - One person is in custody after a crash shutdown the intersection of North Academy Boulevard and Galley Road in Colorado Springs late Sunday night.
Colorado Springs police were called to the intersection just after 9 p.m. Sunday for reports of a two vehicle crash.
The passenger in one of the cars suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries. The driver of that car was arrested for driving under the influence and other charges related to the crash.
The intersection was closed for about five hours. It reopened just after 2 a.m. Monday.
