Colorado Springs stepmom accused of murder skips final divorce hearing

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Letecia Stauch chose not to show up to Friday’s final court hearing involving her divorce case, according to the judge.

Stauch is charged with murdering her 11-year-old stepson, Gannon Stauch, in the Lorson Ranch neighborhood in January 2020.

Her then-husband, Al Stauch, filed for divorce in March 2020, three days after Letecia was charged.

Al has accumulated $75,000 in attorney fees between the murder and divorce case, his lawyer told KRDO Friday.

A fundraising page was recently made to try and help the Stauch family with their financial situation.
