Man sentenced to life in prison for sexual assault of children in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A man was sentenced to 624 years to life in prison for sexually assaulting children in Colorado Springs.

The 4th Judicial District announced Monday that 69-year-old Joseph Lee Davis was convicted of 15 counts of sexual abuse.

In January of last year, police were investigating claims that Davis had sexually abused several children over the span of at least three decades.
