Deer rescued after being stuck in window well of Colorado Springs home

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado Parks and Wildlife rescued a deer Sunday after it was stuck in the window well of a Colorado Springs home.
A resident reported a 200-pound mule deer buck that was laying in an uncovered 6-foot window well. When officers arrived, they say the deer was not seriously injured.
Officer Cassidy English tranquilized the wild animal and helped the homeowners carry it inside and out of the house through the patio doors.
As English was reviving the rescued deer, a second buck approached with the intent of fighting. English hazed the aggressive deer and was able to release the first buck into the wild again.
CPW says the deer mating season can make the animals very aggressive. People should not approach the deer or try to scare them away.
