Police looking for armed suspect who tried to steal at Lowe’s in Pueblo
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police in Pueblo are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect who tried to steal items at Lowe's and brandished a firearm.
Officers says the suspect entered the Lowe's on 1225 W Hwy 50 on Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. Before leaving the store, employees say they saw the suspect pull a handgun from his waistband and put a round in the weapon's chamber. Alarmed employees notified authorities and the suspect placed the weapon in his front hoodie pocket.
Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man, about 5'6" tall and 115 pounds. He was seen wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants and black shoes with a red outline. Officers say he is considered armed and dangerous.
