Tracking weekend showers & storms

TODAY: Expect afternoon highs in the mid-80s in Colorado Springs and Pueblo. We're tracking isolated PM showers and storms across the mountains with the chance for just one or two to spill over I-25.

WEEKEND: Highs will top off in the low 80s in Colorado Springs and high 80s in Pueblo Saturday with a few stray PM showers along I-25. Scattered showers and some stronger thunderstorms are more likely in the mountains. We'll stay in the low 80's in Colorado Springs with some mid-80s in Pueblo Sunday with increasing rain chances in the evening. Mountain storms get even stronger Sunday, bringing periods of heavy rainfall that could lead to localized flash flooding (best chance is across the San Juan Mountains).

NEXT WEEK: We're tracking a bigger drop to the 60s and 70s and wetter weather along and east of I-25 by midweek.
