Cheyenne Mountain Zoo unveils name for new baby giraffe

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Cheyenne Mountain Zoo unveiled the new name for its baby girl giraffe born last month.

Zookeepers were happy to announce the calf is named BB. They say her name stands for "Bailey's Baby."

The calf also celebrated her one month birthday today. She was born to Bailey, an 8-year-old giraffe, on September 28.

BB was named by the care team that has been with her since birth.
