Colorado wildfire has destroyed 25 residential buildings

DENVER (AP) -- A month-old northern Colorado wildfire has destroyed 25 residential buildings and a total of 54 structures.
The Cameron Peak Fire near Red Feather Lakes has burned 102,596 acres so far and is 4% contained, but it hasn’t grown considerably due to recent snow and moisture.
The Denver Post reports warming temperatures this week could increase activity in the fire, which began Aug. 13. The cause is under investigation.
The fire is burning in the Roosevelt National Forest west of Fort Collins and has affected the northern portion of Rocky Mountain National Park. Most of the destroyed residences were in the Monument Gulch area.
