COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs are looking for a man they believe broke into a car on campus.

At around 2:50 p.m. on Aug. 23, an unknown male entered the UCCS Campus Alpine Parking garage. He is described as a white male, possibly 20-30 years of age with short brown hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black, short-sleeve t-shirt and long khaki shorts.

What really caught the police's eye was the car they believe he was driving. Police say he was driving a gold 2000s-model Chevrolet Impala.

"The vehicle had a blue spoiler on the trunk deck, damage to the front driver side fender, missing driver side headlight, spare donut tire on the driver-side front. Additionally, the vehicle appeared to have a rectangle light bar attached to the front bumper. The back window had white square decals with black letters and/or numbers across the top," according to Detective Corporal Mark Toetz.
