COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs School District 20 says a staff member tested positive for the coronavirus Wednesday morning.

A spokesperson said that the employee works at Ranch Elementary School and is one of the four staff members quarantined earlier this week because they were displaying COVID-19 symptoms.

D20 says no students have been impacted by this diagnosis since the employee had not been at school this week.

A spokesperson said the individual will stay at home until their 10-day isolation period is over and they are fever-free without the use of medication.

Staff members who may have been in contact with the employee are also in quarantine for two weeks. The affected school areas have been disinfected.
