COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A Colorado Springs man was sentenced on July 28 to 74 years in the Colorado Department of Corrections after a series of armed robberies in 2018.

The Colorado Springs Police Department says 42-year-old Joshua Lee Youngblood was responsible for nine robberies between January and June in 2018.

He robbed several businesses including restaurants, pharmacies and a hotel. Police say he would point a handgun at victims and then flee the area on a motorcycle with stolen cash and controlled narcotics.
