Colorado Springs police investigate shooting near Platte Avenue
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police in Colorado Springs are investigating a shooting Thursday afternoon.
The Colorado Springs Police Department says it received reports that shots were fired in the area of Platte Avenue and Swope Avenue. One person was shot in the leg and was taken to the hospital to be treated.
No suspects are in custody at this time.
Platte Avenue was shut down in the area of the shooting until about 5:05 p.m.
