Suspect in Colorado Springs officer-involved shooting taken into custody
UPDATE -- The Colorado Springs Police Department has identified the three officers involved in the shooting:
- Corporal Hefty has been employed with the Colorado Springs Police Department since August 12, 2013, and is currently assigned to the Falcon Division, Shift III.
- Officer Helland has been employed with the Colorado Springs Police Department since March 12, 2018, and is currently assigned to the Falcon Division, Shift III.
- Officer Langdon-Isaac has been employed with the Colorado Springs Police Department since November 26, 2018, and is currently assigned to the Falcon Division, Shift III.
CSPD says officers involved in a deadly force incident are placed on administrative leave for about six working days before returning to work.

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- El Paso County Sheriff's Office says the suspect who shot at police officers Wednesday evening has been taken into custody.
48-year-old Christopher Jerome Wilson is facing multiple charges after starting a shootout with Colorado Springs police officers on the 4200 block of Mark Dabling Boulevard.
Deputies say Wilson will be booked into the El Paso County Jail once he is medically cleared. He is facing the following charges.
- Attempted First Degree Murder of a Peace Office - three counts
- Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender
- Illegal Discharge of a Firearm
- Prohibited Use of a Weapon
- Reckless Endangerment
