App led by Colorado Parks and Wildlife shows which trails are open or closed
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- As counties begin to lift the stay-at-home order, many Coloradans are wondering where they can safely recreate. Colorado Parks and Wildlife created an app called COTREX, that helps users navigated open and closed trails.
With help from local, state, and federal partners, COTREX now monitors trail-related COVID-19 closures on a daily basis. The app also includes additional information about various county travel restrictions, as well as daily general COVID-19 updates from state and federal lands in Colorado.
To learn more about how to recreate safely and responsibly during the COVID-19 pandemic, you can download COTREX for free to your smartphone.
