Douglas County Sheriff’s Office looking for shooting suspects

Douglas County Sheriff’s Office

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) – A person living in Castle Pines was shot at around 7:30 Wednesday morning according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were sent to the shooting on Green Valley Circle. When they got there, they learned that a resident had been randomly shot at from people leaving the area in a white, single cab, Ford truck.

The victim was not hurt. That person said one of the people in the truck may have been wearing an orange t-shirt.

That truck has older style wheels, a silver grill, small hubcaps, and a cardboard box in the bed.

It looks like there is a large rust mark behind the rear driver’s door. The truck also has a hitch and faded 4×4 decal on the rear fender.

Investigators are asking anyone who might have information about this shooting, or who recognizes the truck, to call 303-660-7500. If you see the truck, officials warn you not to approach it and call 911.
