COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- KRDO is asking questions about how the El Paso County health department intends to enforce the "safer-at-home" order that goes into effect today.

Our investigation into COVID-19 related enforcement issues in El Paso County found multiple businesses and facilities that were continuing to operate despite a governor's order to shut down.

KRDO found that Denver County is enforcing the coronavirus public health orders at a much higher rate than El Paso County, which says it relies heavily on voluntary compliance by businesses and facilities.
