Colorado’s state parks see admissions price hike
If you're planning trips to your state parks, beware: admission just went up a dollar.
Passes for most parks will now be $9 per vehicle. The prices for annual parks passes will not change.
We spoke to Colorado Parks and Wildlife about the increase and where the money will be going.
"The money will go to help build the Fisher's Peak State Park near Trinidad," said Bill Vogrin with CPW. "It will go to upgrades of varioius parks around the state, including electrical service at campgrounds, boat ramps, dam maintenance, that kind of thing."
The price hike takes effect Sunday all of Colorado's 41 state parks.
