Heavy police presence for barricaded suspect in Old Colorado City

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Officers on scene Friday morning for a barricaded suspect.

Police located a stolen white truck in the 500 block of N Chestnut.

Person exited the truck with weapon in hand and ran from police into an unattached garage.

Numerous shots were fired in garage, no shots were fired by officers. Police then introduced the K9 unit and flash bangs, but still the suspect did not respond.

Officers then entered the garage and found the suspect with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police tell KRDO the suspect is in serious condition.
